About Us

In 1979 AIGNER Machine Engineering was founded as a private company. After having successfully completed his master certificate examination, today's managing director, Rupert Aigner, built the company from a one-man operation to a modern small company with now 12 employees.

In the beginning, mainly window grills, banisters, etc. were manufactured and installed, as well as a variety of other locksmith work.

Already in 1981, the first front hydraulic with front power take-off shaft was built and installed. The constantly increasing demand for this product led to a turning point in the company's still young history: specialization in the series production of front systems began - the focal point of activity shifted more and more toward machine construction.

From the beginning, front hydraulics and front power take-off shafts have been manufactured for the tractor manufacturers Renault, IHC/Case-IH and Schlüter. In the nineties, equipment for Zetor and Steyr was added, and in the years 2000 to 2004 the product range was extended to include the manufacturers Massey Ferguson, McCormick, New Holland and Claas.

The exclusive distributors of our front systems have always been agricultural machinery specialty businesses. Our products are marketed predominantly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition we also export to Denmark, Italy, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia and Greece.

In 1991 the private company became a limited liability corporation: its name changed to Rupert Aigner GmbH. Martin Aigner – the son of the company founder – joined the company and began his training as machine constructor.

In 1992 the first snowplow blade was manufactured. Here, also, the scope of delivery continually expanded. Today our program includes snowplow blades with widths from 1.40 m to 2.15 m. Universal snowplow blades which can be adjusted fourfold are also manufactured. In addition to the blades, the attachment possibilities are continually becoming more diversified - from 3-point attachment frames and quick coupling triangle frames up to special attachment frames for wheel loaders, forklifts, courtyard loaders, construction machines and diverse municipal system vehicles such as Multicar, Unimog UX or Ladog etc. A compatible attachment frame for all current vehicles can be supplied.

In 1999, Martin Aigner successfully completed the master certificate examination and returned to the company.

In the year 2000 a new combined CNC gas and plasma cutting machine was acquired and installed. Since then the machine has been used not only for our own component production, but also for cutting external components. Many surrounding steel, metal and mechanical engineering companies as well as vehicle manufacturers are supplied with our cut components – from simple rectangular plates and circular discs to complex shaped components.

All our products are designed on modern CAD work stations in a 3D environment and manufactured to a large extent on CNC machines, at the same time supplementing our own machinery through various suppliers.

Our systems have proven themselves manifold throughout the years – even with long operating hours and under the hardest field conditions! Technical innovations, further developments and improvements also constantly flow into our production.

Our qualified and very motivated personnel is thereby the guarantee for the high quality of our products. To continue to have adequate personnel available in the future, we have been training apprentices since the foundation of the company. Up to today, many young people have successfully completed their training in machine construction/precision mechanics in our company. In the future we will continue to invest intensively in the training program.

Some of our skilled workers have been with our company for many years. This longtime loyalty is also reflected in the good working climate and the collegial relationship among our employees. All these facts lastingly affect the quality of our products, because only a optimally trained and motivated team can guarantee the high quality standard of our products, now and in the future.
